This Privacy Policy explains how Horselegant ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Horselegant mobile application (the "App").

If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a unique identifier and (depending on your settings) your name and email address from that provider. You may use the App without an account, in which case your data stays on your device.
We store the records you create in the App: horse profiles (name, breed, date of birth, gender, weight, height, custom attributes), feeding plans, health and medical records, vaccinations, training logs, documents, photos and videos, tasks, events and expenses.
When you attach photos, videos or documents to a horse or a record, the App accesses your device's photo library or file picker so you can select them. If you are signed in and cloud backup is enabled, copies of these files are uploaded to secure cloud storage so they can be restored on your other devices.
If you grant location permission, the App uses your device's approximate location to show local weather and laminitis-risk conditions for your horses, and to display the name of your location. Location is used only for this purpose. You can refuse or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the weather feature will then be unavailable, but the rest of the App continues to work.
We collect limited technical information needed to operate the service, such as the number of horses and records associated with your account (used for account and storage limits), app version, and basic device information.
Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your card details. We receive only a subscription status and anonymised identifiers needed to unlock premium features.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers in the App.
Our service providers (Google, RevenueCat) may process and store data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data is encrypted in transit. Cloud data is stored in your own account space and access is restricted to your authenticated account. We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records in the App at any time. You can delete your account from within the App (Settings), which removes your account and associated cloud data. Backups may persist for a short period before being fully purged. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete the App.

The App is not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the date above.
